Your paper should include:
An introduction that briefly describes and explains what your paper is about and the arguments you will be making (you may be able to use your prospectus paragraph from Assignment 1).
A paragraph describing the piece of art/architecture (here is a good place to put the image).
A paragraph describing the culture – where this piece comes from, and the level of society (you may want to refer to Module 1 for cultures and levels of society).
A paragraph describing any context/associations that have relevance to the interpretations (you may want to refer to Module 1 for definitions and examples of context and association).
A few paragraphs on published interpretations (what it meant to the people of the time). Provide a summary of the evidence.
A summary of which interpretation you find most convincing and why.
A conclusion. Restate your argument and your final analysis in summary form, including the evidence you used to make that argument.
References in a separated bibliography.
Marks will be deducted for lateness (10% per day), incorrect spelling, grammar and style.
