There will be 8 essay style questions in the exam
There will be 2 sections, with 4 questions each
You will be required to answer one question from each section.
The questions will focus on each of the 8 topics covered in the lectures. The 4 topics in each of the sections will be released once all the topics have been taught.
While knowledge is cumulative and topics are inter-related, you can prepare for the exam by preparing 2 lecture topics based on the lecture materials and readings recommended for that topic. At this stage you can start preparing one and be confident that that will be in the exam.
Each essay answer should be no more than 1000 words in length. You must not
exceed the specified word limit. This is a maximum word limit (+10% does not apply).
Markers will be instructed that they do not have to mark anything beyond the 1000
You will not be penalised for answers that are shorter than the limit; answers will be
given credit for being comprehensive, rather than for being a certain length.
